Tracy Wale, RN, CHSP

  • Tracy Wale has been a Registered Nurse for almost 40 years, with a strong background in healthcare compliance, licensure and certification. Her clinical career included acute and chronic dialysis, NICU, PICU, Pedi ED, Burn ICU, and critical care transports including ground, helicopter and fixed-wing aircraft. She also held the titles of Director of Women’s and Children’s Nursing, Director of Children’s Nursing and House Supervisor.

As an adjunct to her nursing career, Tracy started Compliance Alliance when called upon by a friend to develop his OSHA compliance programs and infection control protocols. A need was identified in private practice, and in 1996, Compliance Alliance was born. The goal: help others discover an easier means to achieve compliance with all of the regulations that face healthcare. Again, in 2011 she founded Infection Control Solutions to meet the needs of providers impacted by new Infection Control Legislation.

Nick Hornberger

  • Nick Hornberger joined the Compliance Alliance team in 2021. He was born in Farmington, New Mexico but moved to Nevada at an early age. He attended Eureka County High School where he participated in multiple sports, the FFA, and was a member of the National Honor Society.

After graduation, he attended the University of Nevada, Reno. During college, he interned with local organizations to provide safe meals to individuals who were affected by COVID-19. He was also a wildland firefighter during his time in college. In the fall of 2020, Nick graduated from UNR with a Bachelor’s in Community Health Science. In his free time, he likes to be outdoors, play sports, and spend time with his new puppy.

I am a dentist in Nevada who has had the good fortune of opening her own practice. As many of you know, opening or buying a practice triggers an OSHA & infection control inspection from the board. Dental school offered an extensive curriculum, but how to set up and implement compliance programs was NOT on the list. After many months of interrupted attempts to fill in all the blanks in canned programs I purchased through a vendor, I contracted Compliance Alliance. They calmed my nerves and not only trained all my new employees but went the extra mile — they actually combed through our entire office to ensure we were up to date on all the latest changes. This allowed me to relax and focus on patient care while they handled the development, training and legwork. They are outstanding at what they do, and even though I am a fairly recent grad and practice how I was taught, them being available just in case and making sure everything is proper gives me great peace of mind. I highly recommend Compliance Alliance to everyone!
